Worm tea is an organic liquid fertiliser, that is like liquid gold when applied to your crops. It comes from a mix of worm castings and water. It is sometimes called Worm Tea, Worm Pee or Worm Elixir. You can find a whole highlight over on The Grow Guide instagram.

Most worm farms come are tiered, and have a nozzle to release the tea from the bottom tray. When you pour water in, the worm tea is released from the bottom.

Worm Tea

Pour water over your top tray, release it from the bottom. Catch it in a jar, bucket or water canister. Then you want to dilute the tea, for every 1 part tea, 3 parts water. The you want to oxygenate the water by mixing the solution vigorously.

Then water your plants as normal, and watch your plants grow.

*The idea of tea may sound nice, but it’s not for direct human consumption. Just apply it to your plants.
