What to do in the Garden in July

Ooo it’s heating up! This is a great month to get outdoors and to garden.

Vegetable Garden

• Get some of your seedlings started. In our July box you can find Winter Lettuce, Radish, Turnips and Spring Cabbage.

Other Jobs

• Now is the time to start watering either in the early morning or in the evening. You don’t want to risk scorching your plants by watering them in the middle of the day. Check our our article all about rainwater.

• Pick your courgettes

• Pinch the side shoots of your tomatoes.

• Look out for pests and disease. We’ve got an article about some of the common pests and diseases you might see.
